  5. The Apple LaserWriter Select 300 provides laser printing with
  6. high-quality results, an expansion path to PostScript, printer
  7. sharing from multiple Macintosh computers, and extensive paper-
  8. handling capabilities.

  10. Designed for individual use, the LaserWriter Select 300 printer
  11. is ideal if you want a convenient, reliable way to produce
  12. professional quality letters, reports, memos, and charts. You’ll
  13. also enjoy the flexibility of printing high-quality text in a wide
  14. range of styles in any size you like, from tiny footnotes to attention-
  15. getting headlines. Choose from 39 scalable TrueType fonts, including
  16. such popular font families as Times, Helvetica, and Palatino. The
  17. LaserWriter Select 300 also comes with Apple’s FinePrint technology
  18. to smooth out lines and curves that normally appear jagged in your
  19. text.

  22. You can add Adobe PostScript compatibility or Apple’s PhotoGrade
  23. technology to print documents containing graphics or images with
  24. over 90 levels of gray—that’s equivalent to 1,000 dpi.

  27. 300 features a standard cassette tray that holds 250 sheets of paper
  28. for automatic printing of large jobs, and a manual paper feed for small
  29. jobs requiring personal attention. For added convenience, an optional
  30. 250- or 500-sheet paper tray can be added to your LaserWriter Select
  31. 300. And to enhance your productivity, you can continue to use your
  32. Macintosh computer while your document quietly prints in the background.
